dml shoes review ♡ us size 10

hello all!!! i've been meaning to make this blogpost for awhile. admittedly i got lazy... however, i am writing this out now in hopes that it'll help other jirais who are the same size as me. i searched through many posts on the web for someone with the same size as me and the results are ... very few! so i decided to take one for the team and purchase shoes from dear my love. i have owned these shoes for two months now!!

i purchased the double bijou platform loafers pumps and the pearl ribbon loafers pumps in size 25.5cm.

for reference, i am a us size 10 and eu size 41~42 !!

♡ cuteness they are very cute! i squealed when i got them.

♡ fit n sizing they fit surprisingly well! my feet do not have a bunch of room or really much of room at all and if i wear thick socks, it's a tighter fit. however when i wear the thin socks that are usually expected from a coord, they fit 100% okay. i have not gotten blisters or anything of the sort.

♡ comfort ( 9 / 10 ) to me, they are very comfortable, but i'm also very used to walking in heels as it's something i've been doing since age 10. so don't take my words as gospel here! i have walked 10k~11k steps consistently in these and my feet do end up hurting a bit by the end of the day, but for me, it's not an unbearable hurt. and the hurt does not last long. but again, i am used to standing on my feet in high shoes and walking in them.

♡ cuteness so cuteeeee!! definitely my favourite as far as cuteness goes. these just scream jirai with their patent material. ꒰ᐡ ܸ o̴̶̷᷄ ·̫ o̴̶̷̥᷅ ܸ ᐡ꒱ i love them so much!!

♡ fit n sizing alright here's where things get bad. these did not fit when i got them. my feet could fit in them, but they were basically stuffed in there with no breathing room or anything and that made them unwearable. however, i was able to borrow some shoe stretchers. because i was very determined to fit into these cute shoes.

i left the shoe stretchers in for about.. 4 days. the jirai gods heard my prayers because this somehow worked?? it didn't miraculously give me a bunch of breathing room, but i could actually wear them without feeling like my feet were suffocating. so now, i am able to wear them with (so far) no issues.

♡ comfort ( 7 / 10 ) after the jirai gods blessed me through the shoe stretchers, i'd say these are relatively okay as far as comfort goes. after about 5k steps, my feet start screaming for help. but i'm the type of girl who prefers serving over comfort so it's not super unbearable to me. some insoles will probably serve me well with such shoes.

i will probably order from dml again in the future though their patent shoes kinda scare me. because the pearl loafers fit super well!! no issues or extra help needed, but the bijou loafers... they needed shoe stretchers. not sure if it's because of the difference in material or what.

all in all, if you are above a us sizs 10, erm... don't even bother. like seriously. if my feet were any inch bigger, there is no way these would fit. esp in those patent loafers where they barely fit as is. my other us size 10 girlies... we have a fighting chance at dml !! (ᐡ⸝⸝ o̴̶̷̥᷅ ·̫ o̴̶̷᷄ ᐡ)و just make sure to measure your foot and look at the charts too ~

also! my mother tried on my shoes and she was able to fit them as a us size 9. sooo anyone that happens to be that size and is contemplating... there you go! she had much more breathing room than me.

TDLR; as a size us size 10, please be weary of patent shoes from dml. i had to use shoe stretchers. the leather loafers fit just fine and they are more comfortable than the patent ones. i have done 10k+ steps in both pairs and have owned them for months. i can vouch for them.
